At some point in a normal business growth office relocation is necessary, usually this change occurs more than once.
We have just relocated office from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane (remaining in Queensland).
The reasons for to this change are,
- Convenience
- Closer to customers
- Travel times increased due to peak hour traffic
- Space
- Ready for the next stage of growth
The Australian team will be going through some adjustments dur in the next month or so until completely settled. Tips for your office relocation,
- Assign one person to co-ordinate the activities, trust them and listen
- List your selection criteria before looking for the location
- Budget for the relocation expenses
- In our type of business, local accommodation together with office / server physical considerations
- Prepare yourself and the team for the inevitable stress any change causes
